The Marici Fellowship Branch-out Initiative

The Marici Fellowship Branch-out Initiative is a global Buddhist movement to plant trees – as many trees as we can. Whether planting at home, in a community area, or sponsoring tree-planting elsewhere, our goal is to join the traditional Buddhist practice of generosity dedicated to the welfare of all living beings with a contemporary response to the climate crisis.

To plant a tree of life at home, obtain your own native tree saplings and download our Buddhist tree-planting book “Making the Trees of Benefit and Bliss Blossom” along with the audio recording of the chanting to follow. Let us know how many trees you have planted and send us photos if you’d like to share your experience with the Marici Fellowship.

To sponsor a tree-planting elsewhere, click here or use an organization of your choice. You can also download our Buddhist tree-planting book “Making the Trees of Benefit and Bliss Blossom” along with the audio recording to dedicate it as a tree of life from afar, and share the news of your activity with the fellowship.

Sponsor a Tree Planting

Coming soon we will offer an option for you to sponsor tree plantings by the Marici Fellowship. For now, please consider planting your own tree or supporting organizations like The Nature Conservancy to plant trees in your community.
